OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. YOU MUST HAVE INTERNET ACCESS IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN CHALLENGE.

 

1. PROMOTION DESCRIPTION: The Finish® Water Challenge (“Challenge”) is an online entry challenge. The Challenge begins at 12:00:00 AM (ET) on 09/18/24 and ends at 11:59:59 PM (ET) on 11/17/24 (“Promotion Period”). There will be one (1) Grand Prize winner, four (4) First Prize winners, and five (5) Second Prize winners that will be selected randomly at the conclusion of the Challenge, once eligible participants have met the Qualifying Criteria. For Qualifying Criteria, see Section 5.
2. HOW TO ENTER: 

(1) To enter, click on the link included in your Finish® branded email invitation from Reckitt Benckiser LLC (“Sponsor”) or its designees, or go to the promotional website (“Website”) and complete the online entry form. As part of the entry process, entrants will be required to answer questions and purchase the Flume Water Monitor. Once you’ve successfully completed the online entry form, you will see an acknowledgment page informing that your response has been submitted, and you will then be entered into the Challenge where you will need to use the Flume Water Monitor to record your water use for 60 days in order to be considered as a participant (an “Entry”). Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry for non-compliance with these Official Rules.

(2) Alternate Method of Entry:

(a) Existing Flume User. During the Promotion Period, click on the link included in your Finish® branded email invitation from Reckitt Benckiser LLC (“Sponsor”) or its designees, or go to the promotional website (“Website”) and complete the online entry form. As part of the entry process, entrants will be required to answer questions. If Entrant already owns a Flume Monitor Device, this can be indicated on the online enter form. Once you’ve successfully completed the online entry form, you will see an acknowledgment page informing that your response has been submitted, and you will then be entered into the Challenge where you will need to use the Flume Water Monitor to record your water use for 60 days in order to be considered as a participant (an “Entry”). Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry for non-compliance with these Official Rules.

(b) Alternative Water Monitor Device. During the Promotion Period, click on the link included in your Finish® branded email invitation from Reckitt Benckiser LLC (“Sponsor”) or its designees, or go to the promotional website (“Website”) and complete the online entry form. As part of the entry process, entrants will be required to answer questions. If entrant already owns a water monitor device that is not a Flume device, this can be indicated on the online enter form. Once you’ve successfully completed the online entry form, you will see an acknowledgment page informing that your response has been submitted, and you will then be entered into the Challenge where you will need to use your water monitor device to record your water use for 60 days in order to be considered as a participant (an “Entry”). Entrant will be required to submit their recent water bill showing their water reduction, pursuant to the Qualifying Criteria, by either (1) writing their name, address, phone number, age and the subject line “Finish Water Challenge” on a piece of paper, printing their recent water bill at the end of the Promotion Period, and mailing it in an envelope with proper postage to BAM Strategy, PO Box 26037, TORONTO RPO BROADWAY, ON, M4P 0A8, Canada; or  (2) emailing your name, address, phone number, age and subject line “Finish Water Challenge” in addition to your recent water bill at the end of the Promotion Period, to the following email address: finish_us@reckitt.com. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry for non-compliance with these Official Rules.

(c) No Flume Monitor Device or Alternative Water Monitor Device. During the Promotion Period, to enter the Promotion without the use of a water monitor device, an Entrant will be required to submit their recent water bill showing their water reduction, pursuant to the Qualifying Criteria, by either (1) writing their name, address, phone number, age and the subject line “Finish Water Challenge” on a piece of paper, printing their recent water bill at the end of the Promotion Period, and mailing it in an envelope with proper postage to BAM Strategy, PO Box 26037, TORONTO RPO BROADWAY, ON, M4P 0A8, Canada; or  (2) emailing your name, address, phone number, age and subject line “Finish Water Challenge” in addition to your recent water bill at the end of the Promotion Period, to the following email address: finish_us@reckitt.com. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry for non-compliance with these Official Rules.

3. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry and are the intended recipient of the email invitation. Employees of Reckitt Benckiser LLC, its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies (“Promotion Entities”) and its immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited. 
4. WINNER SELECTION: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will be determined from the eligible Entries submitted during the Promotion Period. Additionally, four (4) First Prize Winners and five (5) Second Prize Winners will be determined from all eligible Entries submitted during the Promotion Period. Winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about the date specified below. Sponsor’s decision with respect to winners, these Official Rules, and all other matters pertaining to the Promotion shall be final and binding.
5. QUALIFYING CRITERIA: Each participant will be given an entry for each unit of water reduction they register on their Flume Water Monitor over the course of the Challenge compared to a control group of similar users of the Flume Water Monitor. The greater the water reduction, the more entries the participant will receive. The unit of measure will be determined by the Challenge owners. Challenge owners reserve the right to disqualify participants based on behavior that is deemed in violation of the letter and spirit of the Challenge rules.
6. WINNER NOTIFICATION: The official Winners will be notified by email at the close of the Challenge, at Sponsor’s discretion, using contact information provided or collected at the time of entry within thirty (30) business days following the winner selection. Sponsor shall have no liability for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by a potential winner for any reason. Once the Challenge ends, if less than 10 entries are received, the remaining quantity of prizes in question may go unawarded if it remains unclaimed. If any potential prize winner is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines the prize for any reason prior to award, such prize will be forfeited and an alternate prize winner may be selected.  
7. PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (ARV)/ODDS:

Grand Prize: One (1) winner will receive the Grand Prize (“Grand Prize”) of (a) a suite of Whirlpool® Kitchen Appliances (Refrigerator, Microwave, Oven and Dishwasher) (installation of appliances is not included), (b) a one (1) Year Supply of Finish® products, and (c) a $1,000 Visa Gift Card, which can be used for the appliance installation.

First Prize: Four (4) winners will each receive (a) one (1) Whirlpool® Dishwasher (installation of appliances is not included) and one (1) Year supply of Finish® and a $500 Visa Gift Card, which can be used for the appliance installation.

Second Prize: Five (5) winners will each receive one (1) Year supply of Finish® (Approximate retail value: $233)

Total ARV of all prizes is $13,807. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received, and winners to be selected randomly. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited and an alternate prize winner may be selected.   Limit one (1) prize per person. All applicable federal, state, and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.

A Year Supply of Finish® is equivalent to one (1) tub of Finish® Ultimate Detergent 62 tabs, six (6) packs of Finish® Ultimate Detergent 52 tabs each, one (1) Finish® Jet- Dry Rinse Aid 32oz, twelve (12) Finish® Dishwasher Cleaner Liquid, three (3) Finish® Dishwasher Cleaner Tabs with 4 tabs each, and one (1) pan scraper (“Year Supply”).

8. GENERAL: If prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected in accordance with these Official Rules. No cash equivalents, substitutions or transfer of prize permitted except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event that an offered prize is unavailable. Subject to all federal, state and local laws/regulations. By accepting prize, winner releases and agrees to hold harmless Promotion Entities, including without limitation, their respective directors, employees, officers, and agents, including without limitation, from any and all liability, injury, loss or damage of any kind, including but not limited to personal injury or death, arising from or in connection with participation in the Challenge, or the awarding, receipt, possession, use or misuse of any prize and/or respect to participation in any prize related activity. Neither Promotion Entities, including without limitation nor their employees will have any liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize or participation in the promotion or any prize-related activities. Acceptance of a prize shall be construed as and signify the winner’s agreement and consent that Sponsor may use the winner’s name, voice, likeness and/or prize information, entry, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further consideration, review, approval or payment, where allowed by law. Winner acknowledges that neither Sponsor nor its agents have made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including, but not limited to, its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees on a prize, if any, are subject to the manufacturers’ terms therefore and winners agrees to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty and/or guarantee. By participating in this Challenge, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer or in administration of the Challenge.
9. LIMITATIONS AND RELEASES: Promotion Entities are not responsible for lost, late, mutilated or illegible entries nor for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor or presenter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend, or terminate the Challenge if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Challenge is technically impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures or malfunctions or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control have destroyed or severely undermined or to any degree impaired the integrity, administration, security, proper play and/or feasibility of the Challenge as contemplated herein. In the event Sponsor is prevented from awarding prizes or continuing with the Challenge as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, Sponsor shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Challenge. If the Challenge is terminated before the designated end date, Sponsor will  select winners randomly, drawing from all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the date of the event giving rise to the termination. Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy under such circumstances. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. 
10. CAUTION: Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Challenge is a violation of law and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent of the law.
11. USE OF INFORMATION: By entering this Challenge, all entrants grant the Sponsor and/or its agents permission to use their first name, and/or statements in any media created. By participating in the Challenge, entrants agree that the Sponsor may use such information obtained from entrants in this Challenge for marketing purposes, and may include the names of winners in a publicly available winner list.
12. PRIVACY: Information submitted as part of an entry into this Challenge is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on the Finish Site and Flume Site. For information about how the Sponsor and Administrator uses your personal information, please see its privacy policy, located at https://www.finishdishwashing.com/policies/privacy-policy/ and https://flumewater.com/privacy-policy/.
13. GOVERNING LAW/JURISDICTION: ALL ISSUES AND QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION, VALIDITY, INTERPRETATION AND ENFORCEABILITY OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES OR THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF ENTRANTS OR SPONSOR IN CONNECTION WITH THE CHALLENGE SHALL BE GOVERNED BY AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INTERNAL LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY PREFERENCE WITHOUT GIVING EFFECT TO ANY CHOICE OF LAW OR CONFLICT OF LAW RULES OR PROVISIONS THAT WOULD CAUSE THE APPLICATION OF ANY OTHER STATE’S LAWS.

Flume, Inc. 75 Higuera Street, Suite 120. San Luis, Obispo, CA 93401 is responsible for the processing of orders of the Flume Water Monitor and of water data collected during the challenge.
